We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Shift Manager to oversee daily operations in our projects. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service. As a Shift Manager, you will be responsible for managing staff, ensuring food safety standards, and maintaining efficient operations during your shift.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate daily restaurant operations to ensure smooth functioning.
- Manage team members effectively, fostering a positive work environment that encourages collaboration and high performance.
- Handle cash transactions accurately and oversee cash handling procedures.
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain cleanliness in all areas of the restaurant.
- Assist in budgeting and inventory management to optimize operational efficiency.
- Provide training and support to staff, including new hires, on company policies and procedures.
- Address customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly to enhance guest satisfaction.
- Collaborate with the management team to implement promotional activities and improve service quality.
Experience
- Previous experience in food service or casual dining is preferred.
- Background as an Assistant Manager or similar role in a restaurant or hotel setting is highly desirable.
- Proven skills in team management and effective communication.
- Familiarity with budgeting processes and financial management within a restaurant context.
- Knowledge of food safety standards and best practices.
