Responsibilities & Duties
- Preparation of AutoCAD shop drawings and submittal packages within a fast-paced environment.
- Review of construction drawings and specifications with Estimators and Project Mangers.
- Perform analytical problem-solving through various construction issues and detailing conflicts.
- Coordinate, communicate, and implement construction revisions.
- Communicate with the Technical Services Department of our vendor partners.
- Assist in the professional development and training of co-workers.
- Prepare construction submittals for various building envelope systems, particularly roofing and architectural metal panel/other cladding systems.
- Manage multiple responsibilities and tasks and understand building construction documents and division of trades.
- All other related duties.
- At least 2 years of recent experience with AutoCAD/drafting
- Knowledge of manufacturing and construction processes
- Ability to read and understand blueprints
- Technical knowledge of or familiarity with architectural construction detailing and manufacturer fabrication drawings.
- Ability to effectively communicate with management and peers in a team building environment.
- Strong organizational, prioritization, and time management skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment
- Proficient in all Microsoft Office applications.
