Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role located in the Sarasota, Florida for an Inventory Logistics Manager. Part-time may be considered. This role involves managing and optimizing inventory systems, ensuring accurate inventory records, and improving supply chain processes. The Inventory Logistics Manager will help oversee procurement activities, implement inventory control measures, analyze data to reduce operational inefficiencies, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet organizational objectives.
Qualifications
- Must work to ensure that Kalitec Medical is in compliance with applicable Regulations, Standards, and the Quality Management System Manual.
- Manage all inventory received in and package / ship out orders that Kalitec receives from our distribution network.
- Track distributor inventory and perform distributor consignment inventory audits.
- Communicate and resolve discrepancies in returned product to / from distributors.
- Analyze internal / external inventory levels to identify potential shortages or excesses of assets, and communicate with Kalitec management and the distribution chain for resolution.
- Evaluate and analyze inventory of newly introduced products and assist in the preparation of reports for Marketing and Sales.
- Identify and report to the Operations Manager any potential challenges.
- Make recommendations, and once approved, implement process and procedure changes required to improve overall inventory efficiency.
- Responsible to maintain 100% compliance to company-wide SOP’s and FDA QSR requirements.
- Perform incoming inspections of product upon receipt from suppliers or distributors to ensure compliance to released specifications and functionality of the instrumentation.
- Maintain Inventory Manager Procedure Manual.
Qualifications
- Experience in inventory and logistics management highly desired.
- Experience in using a computer required. Familiarity with common software programs (e.g., Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) and ERP experience required. QuickBooks experience is desirable though not required.
- Experience in working with quality system requirements (e.g., traceability, complaint handling) desirable.
Education Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Business / Logistics (e.g., BA, BS) preferred but equivalent combination of formal
education and experience will be considered acceptable.
