What are the responsibilities and job description for the Live-in Caregiver (Full time + Weekends) position at Kaleo Supports, Inc.?
We are seeking a dependable, compassionate Live-In Caregiver to support an individual who requires total care. This role is ideal for someone who is flexible, professional, and comfortable providing hands-on assistance while maintaining a warm, respectful environment.
Schedule & Availability
- Live-in position
- Weekdays: Must be flexible and available to provide coverage if another caregiver calls out
- Weekends: Must be available all day on Saturdays and Sundays
- Weekend shifts are paid at a higher rate
Key Responsibilities
- Provide total care support and supervision
- Assist with daily living needs (personal care, mobility support, routines, etc.)
- Maintain a safe, clean, and supportive living environment
- Provide companionship and respectful, client-centered care
- Transport the client as needed (appointments, errands, community outings)
- Communicate clearly with the team regarding client needs and updates
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid driver’s license
- Ability to transport the client
- Reliable, punctual, and able to respond to schedule changes
- Comfortable providing total care (bathing,grooming..etc)
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior caregiving experience (home care, PCA, CNA, or similar)
- Calm, patient, and professional under pressure
- Strong communication and reliability
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $150.00 - $250.00 per day
