Job Description
Monitors and coordinates the patient selective menu process including age-specific criteria assuring compliance with medical staff’s diet order, food allergies, and the approved Diet Manual. Navigates the automated diet office software and Meditech software entering patient-specific data related to medical staff orders and supplement/tube feeding orders. Supervise food service and Hostess staff, patient meal preparation/service. Assures compliance with infection control standards for food safety ensuring patient safety.
Education And Credentials
High School diploma or equivalent.
Experience
Two (2) years' experience in health care food service including therapeutic diets. Able to speak clearly and communicate effectively on telephone and in person. Able to cope with peak production and service times that require speed and concentration. Strong computer skills.
