The Foundations of Kaleida Health, which includes The Children's Hospital of Buffalo Foundation and The Kaleida Health Foundation, are a dynamic and growing non-profit organization dedicated to supporting programs, equipment and technology at WNY's premiere health care system and the region's one and only pediatric hospital, Golisano Children's Hospital (GCH) of Buffalo. The role of the Development Associate for Annual and Leadership Giving is to support the Manager of Annual Giving in the management and execution of the leadership and annual giving programs for the Foundation of Kaleida Health. This position is responsible for supporting the comprehensive, multi-channel annual giving program with a strong emphasis on digital fundraising, direct mail, and data-driven strategy. This position will also manage a portfolio of 50-75 leadership level donors and prospects ($1,000 or more donors who have the potential to make a major gift of $25,000 or more) to build into the Foundations' donor pipeline and successfully transition relationships to major gift officers. The development associate will support initiatives such as Giving Day For Kids, Patricia Allen Fund season campaign, employee and grateful patient giving and a robust annual direct mail program. Success in this role requires an understanding of annual giving best practices, strong project management, a willingness to engage with data and analytics, and a creative approach to donor engagement.
Salary : $61,757 - $84,923
