The college is currently seeking a qualified candidate to work as a Wellness & Fitness Center Specialist. This job provides assistance in the operation of the Wellness & Fitness Center, Gym Cage and Weight Room. Responsibilities involve overseeing fitness center operations, conducting patron tours, performing orientations for first-time users, answering phones and responding to questions as appropriate.

The college is currently seeking a qualified candidate to work as a Wellness & Fitness Center Specialist. This job provides assistance in the operation of the Wellness & Fitness Center, Gym Cage and Weight Room. Responsibilities involve overseeing fitness center operations, conducting patron tours, performing orientations for first-time users, answering phones and responding to questions as appropriate.
Additional duties include but are not limited to:
- Performing daily cleaning and upkeep of the Wellness & Fitness Center facility and equipment.
- Ensuring safety and security.
- Operating a washer and dryer.
- Performing opening and closing procedures.
Minimum Qualifications:
- A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
- CPR/First Aid/AED certification OR the ability to obtain within the first six (6) months of employment is required.
- Candidates must be able to work independently and without supervision.
Preferred Qualifications and Experience:
Physical Demands:
- Must be able to perform physical labor requiring bending, twisting, reaching, and lifting of up to 50 lbs. frequently.
- Ability to operate cleaning equipment and tools.
Work Hours:
10 to 20 hours per week. Flexible hours between 6 a.m. - 8 p.m. Monday - Thursday, 6 a.m. - 6 p.m. Friday and 9 a.m. - 3 p.m. on Saturday.
