GENERAL SUMMARY
The purpose of this job is to provide administrative support to the department and receive and process invoices promptly. Assist vendors with payment questions and issues. Provide customer service to other County departments. Assist B&G with day-to-day operations, questions, and issues. Energy tracking, building key record keeping, special ordering.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Performs administrative duties of a confidential nature with minimal supervision, including customer service delivery, answering phone calls/emails, and data entry
- Manages office facilities, materials, and supplies, including maintaining inventory and ordering supplies
- Completes data entry and maintenance of contracts, and correspondence across appropriate databases. Coordinates with vendors on projects
- Assists with financial transactions, reconciles invoices, and processes reimbursements
- Serves as Department Emergency Contact, IT First Responder, and back up to the board chambers technology
- Assist Director and Deputy Directors with special projects
- Performs related work as required.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Required Education and Experience
- High school diploma (or GED equivalent)
- 1 to 3 years of related work experience in administrative support or office management
- Any equivalent combination of training, education, and experience that provides the required skills, knowledge, and abilities
