This person must have 2 or more years of experience underwriting MCAs at an A-Paper Shop , with a strong emphasis on generating approvals. He/she must have the ability to use data driven insights as a guide, but also rely on experience and intuition to make informed decisions. This candidate must be comfortable handling a large number of deals daily, and thrive in a high pressure, results driven environment. Must be able to adapt quickly and efficiently.Responsibilities and DutiesResponsible for generating approval or decline decision for small business applicantsDetermine the ability of the client to repay financing based on analysis of the clients cash flow statements, tax returns, and other financial informationPerform detailed financial analysis on the small business, including trend and ratio analysis, and interpret the financial information to determine credit quality and cash flow adequacyPerform other due diligence as needed to determine the creditworthiness of a small business ownerWork with the Relationship Managers in negotiating credit transactionsQualifications and Skills2 or more years experience working in an A-Paper Merchant Cash Advance / financial institution underwriting small businessesStrong analytical skills including the ability to read and assess individual and company financial statementsProficient in ExcelTeam player with the ability to take initiativeDetail-oriented, ability to work well under pressure and multi-taskStrong written and verbal communication skillsProblem recognition and resolution skillsPrevious experience in a remote environment preferredThis is a remote position.
