Licensed Cosmetologist – Part Time
Kalahari Resorts & Conventions is seeking a Part -Time Licensed Cosmetologist. In this role, you will administer professional hair styling, cutting and chemical services, restorative treatments, as well as apply cosmetics and skin treatments with an emphasis on cleanliness, sanitation, and excellent customer service beyond expectations to the guests.
As part of our leadership team, you’ll embody our Promise to Lead with Love—guiding, supporting, and inspiring associates while delivering extraordinary guest experiences. You’ll offer professional hair, makeup, and beauty services that help our guests look and feel their best. You’ll provide a personalized approach to create a welcoming and uplifting spa atmosphere.
This is a commissioned position.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide consistent professional styling of hair, to include but not limited to: color, bleach, frost or condition hair, adding hairpieces and weaves, relaxers, texturizers, perms, and restorative treatments.
- Provide consistent professional cosmetics that are appropriate for the client’s coloring and skin tone, shape, trim, pluck and color eyebrows, or assist in the removal of unwanted facial hair.
- Have complete knowledge and understanding of all services and products while educating and training guests in these areas.
- Uphold the standards of sanitation and sterilization as directed by law and the spa’s policies and procedures.
- Answer telephones and book appointments as needed.
What We’re Looking For
- One year of specialized experience working in a spa or salon is a must, or directly related experience, or any equivalent combination of experience and training in spa, salon, stylist services is needed.
- Must be available to work long hours, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Must hold and maintain a current State Cosmetologist License.
