Assistant General Manager – Double Cut Steakhouse

Kalahari Resorts & Conventions is seeking an Assistant General Manager – Double Cut Steakhouse. Step into Double Cut Steak House—where bold flavors, elevated dining, and unforgettable experiences come together in a steakhouse unlike any other. In this role, you will support the restaurant's overall success by helping to lead daily operations, developing team members, and ensuring exceptional guest experiences. This role partners closely with the General Manager to drive service standards, financial performance, and operational excellence in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.

In this role, you will support our company promise – Lead with Love by creating a culture built on respect, support, accountability, and genuine care for both guests and team members. Through hands-on leadership, coaching, and positive encouragement, they inspire their team to deliver exceptional hospitality while fostering an environment where people feel valued, empowered, and motivated to succeed together.

Salary Range - $55,000 - $65,000/yr

Key Responsibilities  

•  Ensure that all food and beverage products are consistently prepared and served according to the restaurant’s recipes, portioning, cooking, and serving standards.
• Achieving company objectives in sales, service, quality, the appearance of the facility, and sanitation and cleanliness through training of associates and creating a positive, productive working environment.
• Fill in where needed (as interim Manager, Supervisor, or Associate) to ensure guest service standards and efficient operations are met daily.
• Continually strive to develop, coach, and train your staff in all areas of managerial and professional development.

What We’re Looking For 

• With this position, we do require a background of general food and beverage knowledge, involving at least 1 year of front-of-the-house operations and/or assistant management positions in a hotel or resort setting.
• Prior restaurant experience in a full-service restaurant and supervisory experience of staff is a must.  
• It’s preferred that you have at least 2 years of directly related experience, including experience with craft cocktails.
