About Us: Kaizen Clinical Partners, Inc. (KCP) is a group of experienced, dedicated, and passionate physicians and clinics, delivering equitable, excellent, and efficient primary and preventive care. Our mission is to create a sustainable healthy society by improving well-being in our communities. We believe in treating our patients and staff with the highest ethical standards and care. KCP has a strong commitment to creating a legacy of how health care should be, focusing on our patients' needs, implementing the best service delivery ideas, and enhancing the patient experience. Most of our primary care clinics have been serving the Rio Grande Valley for more than 20 years.

The Role: As a Medical Assistant at KCP, you are the backbone of our patient experience. You will bridge the gap between administrative operations and hands-on clinical care, ensuring every patient feels respected and heard from check-in to discharge. You don’t just "work in a clinic"—you orchestrate the clinical flow to ensure every visit is safe, efficient, and deeply compassionate.

In this role, you serve as the trusted partner to our Physicians and Advanced Practice Clinicians. You are their "eyes and ears," anticipating clinical needs before they arise and ensuring that every provider can focus their full attention on the patient. By handling the critical details of rooming, clinical prep, and patient education, you empower our clinicians to deliver the highest standard of care, making you an indispensable part of our clinic’s success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Clinical Care: Record vital signs (blood pressure, pulse, temperature), prepare patients for examination, and assist physicians or advanced practice clinicians, during procedures.
  • Patient Experience: Greet patients warmly, manage patient flow, and ensure a comfortable, compassionate environment.
  • Clinical Support: Assist with minor procedures, prepare exam rooms, and administer vaccinations or medications as directed.
  • Administrative Duties: Update electronic health records (EHR), keep abreast of quality measures, and manage patient inquiries.
  • Safety & Compliance: Maintain sterile exam rooms, restock medical supplies, and strictly adhere to HIPAA regulations.

Key Requirements:

  • Education: High school diploma or GED; graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program.
  • Certification: Current CMA (AAMA) or RMA certification; current BLS/CPR certification.
  • Experience: 1 years of experience in a fast-paced clinical setting preferred (but we value high-potential new graduates!).
  • Soft Skills: Exceptional bedside manner, strong multitasking abilities in a fast-paced environment, and clear verbal/written communication.
  • Attributes: Empathy, professionalism, and a proactive attitude.

Why You’ll Love Working Here:

  • Competitive salary and performance bonuses.
  • Generous benefits package including health, dental, PTO, and holiday pay.
