Compensation: $16.90/hourly, with a monthly performance-based incentive plan

Hiring Location:

The Sales BDC Call Center Representative will work out of our Imperial Valley Chevrolet store with our Call Center team booking sales appointments for our Imperial Valley Chevrolet, Honda, and Hyundai locations.

Position Summary:

The Sales BDC Call Center Representative is responsible for initiating and managing communications with potential and existing customers through both outbound and inbound calls. This role plays a critical part in driving traffic to the showroom across three leading OEM automotive brands. The ideal candidate is highly motivated by earning potential, skilled at managing their own time, and enjoys engaging with customers in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who are looking to grow into a sales career within the automotive industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Make a high volume of outbound calls daily to generate sales and service traffic for three OEM dealership brands.
  • Answer inbound customer calls professionally and direct inquiries to the appropriate department.
  • Follow up with leads generated through digital campaigns, web inquiries, and marketing efforts.
  • Log all customer communications in CRM systems accurately and promptly.
  • Maintain an organized call schedule and follow-up cadence to ensure maximum contact and conversion.
  • Provide accurate automotive product and services information as needed.
  • Meet or exceed performance targets including contact rate, appointment setting, and customer satisfaction metrics.
  • Collaborate with the various departments across the dealerships to ensure a smooth customer experience.

Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • 2 years of previous experience in a call center, customer service, or sales environment preferred.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to send emails and texts in a professional tone primarily in the English language.
  • Ability to remain patient during escalated call scenarios with the resilience to bounce back and refocus on the required workload.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to self-manage workload and time.
  • Goal-oriented with a strong desire to succeed and grow professionally.
  • Comfortable using CRM software, phone systems, and general office technology.
  • Ability to work in a large team environment where daily collaboration will be required.
  • Must be available to work retail hours including days, evenings, and weekends to ensure customer calls and questions are answered during peak hours and high-traffic sales days. Saturday and every other Sunday will be required.

Preferred Attributes:

  • Spanish Bilingual preferred but not required.
  • Familiarity with the automotive industry or dealership operations is a plus.
  • A career-minded individual interested in progressing into a sales or customer relationship role.
