Computer Systems Analyst, Intermediate

KAIROS, Inc is searching for an energetic, experienced, and highly motivated Computer Systems Analyst, Intermediate, to join our team. This position is contingent upon contract award. This position will work at a government site in St. Inigoes, MD.

This position will analyze science, engineering, business, and other data processing problems to develop and implement solutions to complex applications problems, system administration issues, or network concerns.

Primary Duties:

• Performs systems management and integration functions, improve existing computer systems, and review computer system capabilities, workflow, and schedule limitations.
• May analyze or recommend commercially available software.
• Supports and guides junior staff and collaborates with senior team members in applying analytical techniques and methodologies to enhance project outcomes.
• Troubleshoot program and system malfunctions to restore normal functioning
• Test, maintain, and monitor computer programs and systems, including coordinating the installation of computer programs and systems.

• Using computers and computer systems to program, write software, set up functions, enter data, or process information

• Microsoft office suite proficiency, i.e., Word, Excel, PowerPoint

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills to provide clear status and/or communicate issues

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor's Degree in a technical, computer science, or information technology discipline.
• In lieu of a Bachelor's degree, an Associate's degree in a technical, computer science, or information technology discipline plus an additional four (4) years of work experience may be substituted.
• In lieu of a degree, an additional six (6) years of relevant work experience may be substituted
• At least three (3) years of relevant work experience

Clearance:

This position is subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. In order to complete the requirements for government security clearance investigation you must be a U.S. Citizen and be able to complete the full background investigation. This position requires an Active Secret Security Clearance.

Compensation:

While skills, education, and experience are key factors, they are not the sole determinants of salary. Other determining factors include but are not limited to location, contract budgets and requirements, and government labor category guidelines. The estimated salary range for this position is $100,000.00 to $130, KAIROS also provides a comprehensive benefits package as additional employee compensation.
