SALES & PROJECT CONSULTANT (1099 CONTRACTOR)

Kairos Contracting is a growing residential remodeling and construction company specializing in home renovations, repairs, maintenance, and improvement projects. We are seeking motivated, self-driven Sales & Project Consultants who can identify opportunities, build relationships with homeowners, and help turn project ideas into completed jobs.
This is a commission-based independent contractor (1099) opportunity ideal for individuals who enjoy meeting people, solving problems, and creating business opportunities. You will be responsible for generating leads, meeting with prospective clients, assessing project needs, gathering measurements and project details, and documenting information that will be used to prepare project estimates.
The ideal candidate is comfortable prospecting, conducting in-home consultations, and managing customer relationships from initial contact through signed contract.
- Prospect and generate new residential remodeling, repair, and maintenance opportunities
- Build relationships with homeowners and referral partners
- Conduct in-home consultations with prospective clients
- Walk through remodeling, renovation, repair, and maintenance projects with homeowners
- Take accurate measurements, photos, and project notes
- Document project scope and customer requirements
- Submit project information through company systems for estimate generation
- Present estimates and proposals to prospective clients
- Follow up with leads and maintain communication throughout the sales process
- Track opportunities and maintain organized records of client interactions
- Collaborate with project managers and foremen to ensure accurate project handoff
- Previous experience in sales, construction, remodeling, real estate, home services, or related industries
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Comfortable meeting clients in their homes
- Ability to learn basic construction terminology and project evaluation
- Self-motivated with strong organizational skills
- Reliable transportation and valid driver's license
