Position Purpose:
The HR Manager – Employment, Relations & Compliance supports a broad range of human resources functions throughout the employee lifecycle, with a focus on employee relations, compliance, performance, and organizational development. This position partners with employees and leaders to promote a positive, consistent, and compliant workplace while providing guidance and support on a variety of HR matters. The HR Manager also supports training, professional development, and manager development initiatives that strengthen employee engagement and organizational effectiveness.
Essential Functions:
-Manage and provide guidance on employee relations matters, including workplace concerns, performance issues, conflict resolution, investigations, corrective action, and policy interpretation.
-Ensure compliance with applicable federal and state employment laws, regulations, organizational policies, and healthcare-related requirements; monitor changes and recommend necessary updates.
-Support HR processes and practices throughout the employee lifecycle, including onboarding, performance management, transfers, promotions, leaves, disciplinary actions, and separation.
-Administer and support the organization's performance management process, providing guidance to managers and employees on goal setting, evaluations, coaching, and performance improvement.
-Coordinate and facilitate compliance training, manager training, professional development, and other learning opportunities that support employee and organizational growth.
-Maintains HR records and compiles reports related to recruitment, interviews, hires, promotions, transfers, terminations, and performance evaluations.
-Supports the administration of employee benefit programs in coordination with the Director of Human Resources.
-Collaborates with leadership and department managers to support workforce planning and staffing needs.
Job Qualifications:
Required:
-Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Human Resources, Healthcare Administration or a related field.
-Minimum of three years' experience in Human Resources or related field.
-Knowledge of employment laws and human resources best practices.
-Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion.
-Ability to collaborate with leadership and employees across departments.
Preferred:
-Master’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
-Human Resources experience in a healthcare setting
-Professional HR certification (e.g., SHRM or HRCI).
-Two years of labor relations experience
