Position: Travel Registered Nurse (Home Health)

Location: Honolulu, HI

Pay: $2,720/week

Experience: Home health nursing experience preferred.

Education: Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing; current Hawaii RN license.

Type: Full-time; Contract

Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM; must be available for alternate weekends if needed.

Kahu Malama Nurses is seeking a Travel Registered Nurse (Home Health) to join a growing and dynamic team!

Job Description:

• Perform comprehensive patient assessments and document health data at each visit.
• Develop and update individualized treatment plans in collaboration with providers.
• Implement preventive and rehabilitative nursing interventions safely and on time.
• Manage assigned cases, coordinate with internal teams, and make referrals as needed.
• Supervise and provide input to HHAs and LPNs per agency policy.
• Educate patients, families, caregivers, and staff on care plans and instructions.
• Prepare accurate, timely electronic documentation to support reimbursement.
• Maintain communication with providers, caregivers, and external agencies to ensure continuity of care.
  
  

Position Requirements:

• Valid U.S. driver’s license, vehicle, and insurance.
• Clean driver’s abstract.
• Current BLS certification.
• Strong clinical judgment and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage workload across various geographic areas.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to safely use home-health equipment (BP cuffs, adaptive devices, lifts, etc.).
