Position: Radiology Technologist

Location: Honolulu, HI

Pay: $30/hour

Experience: 1 to 2 years of recent X-ray experience in an acute care setting.

Education: High school diploma or GED; completion of a formal radiologic training program.

Type: Full-time; Temp-to-Perm

Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM

Kahu Malama Nurses is seeking a Radiology Technologist to join a growing and dynamic team!

Job Description:

• Position and prepare patients for radiologic procedures safely and accurately.
• Operate X-ray equipment following established protocols to ensure safety and image quality.
• Capture and process diagnostic images; review quality and retake as necessary.
• Prepare examination rooms, equipment, and instruments before procedures.
• Maintain accurate patient care records and daily logs.
• Assist patients with mobility needs safely.
• Answer patient questions regarding procedures and ensure comfort.
• Follow organizational policies, safety guidelines, and compliance standards.
  
  

Position Requirements:

• Valid State of Hawaii Radiographer licensure.
• ARRT registration.
• Current BLS certification.
• Valid Hawaii driver’s license.
• Strong judgment and decision-making abilities.
• Ability to adapt to varying patient needs and maintain patient confidentiality.
• Solid communication and interpersonal skills.
