Position: Occupational Therapist (Outpatient)

Location: Honolulu, HI

Pay: $90,000/year

Experience: New grads accepted; 3 to 5 years experience starts at $90,000 (Inpatient roles prefer 1 year rehab experience).

Education: Graduate of an ACOTE-accredited Occupational Therapy program.

Type: Full-time; Direct Hire

Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Kahu Malama Nurses is seeking an Occupational Therapist (Outpatient) to join a growing and dynamic team!

Job Description:

• Provide safe and effective patient care in an outpatient setting.
• Manage patient mobility and implement individualized treatment plans.
• Document patient progress and maintain accurate clinical records.
• Communicate clearly with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams.
• Ensure compliance with hospital standards, competencies, and protocols.
• Participate in ongoing professional development and training activities.
• Support positive clinical outcomes through coordinated care.
  
  

Position Requirements:

• Current State of Hawaii Occupational Therapist licensure.
• Current NBCOT certification as an OTR.
• Current BLS certification.
• Ability to manage patient mobility safely and effectively.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Completion of all required competencies and job-related training.
