What are the responsibilities and job description for the Barista/Cashier position at Kahnfections?
Kahnfections is a classic neighborhood bakery specializing in home-style, artisan baked goods. We are currently looking for a new barista/cashier to join our team. The position available is part time. Shifts range; earliest starting at 6:15am and latest ending at 3pm.
MUST BE ABLE TO WORK WEEKENDS!
We are looking to cover shifts from Saturday, Sunday and Monday
Responsibilities include (but not limited to):
- Greeting customers when they enter the bakery
- Assisting customers with pastry item selection
- Making coffee and assorted beverages
- Using POS system and cashier skills
- Checking for online orders as they come in and relaying them to the kitchen staff
- Clearing counter and bussing dishes
- Cleaning of coffee area and also sanitizing outside seating areas
- Restocking and inventory
- Answering the phone
- Miscellaneous other tasks
- Assisting kitchen staff with various projects and packaging
- Must be reliable, punctual and dedicated
- Must be able to work quickly and efficiently in a high volume setting
- Must have the ability to multi-task!
