Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks, teas, and specialty beverages with skill and consistency.
- Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process sales accurately and efficiently.
- Handle cash transactions, give correct change, and manage cash handling procedures responsibly.
- Provide friendly, attentive customer service by greeting guests, answering questions, and ensuring satisfaction.
- Maintain cleanliness and food safety standards in food preparation areas and café environment.
- Assist with food handling and basic food preparation tasks to support café operations.
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure quick service without compromising quality or safety.
Requirements
- Previous barista experience or coffee industry knowledge is highly preferred.
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus.
- Strong customer service skills with a positive attitude and excellent communication abilities.
- Ability to perform basic math for sales transactions, retail math calculations, and cash handling.
- Good time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during shifts.
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures.
- Experience in food service or retail environments is beneficial but not mandatory; a willingness to learn is essential.
