Kahler Slater is seeking Project Specialist with 2 years of experience for our Corporate, Hospitality, and Residential team. Successful candidates are design forward, technically savvy, problem solvers, and passion players.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Support architectural project teams
- Connect a project’s design intent with technical requirements
- Work in all phases of the project from concept through construction administration
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Bachelor of Architecture or Master of Architecture degree
- 1-2 years of experience on projects in a design firm setting
- Revit production experience within an office environment
- Relevant experience and demonstrable skill with Adobe Creative Suite, Revit Rendering, and/or Enscape
- Self-directed
- Successful team-orientation and collaboration behaviors
- Effective time management with multiple deadlines
- Strong communication skills, spoken, written, and graphic
- Efficiently respond to project team needs
- Maintains a positive, professional attitude
- Started / starting AXP
Working Relationships and Scope
- Reports to team and Project Manager
- Collaborates with project team
- Works independently, under the mentorship of team members
- Represents the firm in alignment with Kahler Slater’s core values
- Interacts at times with external clients and partners
Working Conditions
Work is performed in a professional, collaborative, creative, open office environment. As is customary in the industry for professional design staff, “full-time” will exceed 2,080 hours over the course of the year. Great flexibility in your schedule is both required of you and returned to you due to our many project deadlines. Occasional travel is possible.
