Kāhala Nui, considered Hawaiʻi’s premier senior living community, is seeking a reliable and skilled Maintenance Utility to join our team.
POSITION SUMMARY: As a Maintenance Utility, you will assist the Building Operations Department with the maintenance and repair of grounds, buildings, apartment homes, and equipment. You will support preventive maintenance, special projects, and painting as needed. This role also serves as a member of the first responder team, providing immediate support to ensure the safety and well-being of residents and associates.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
(Equivalent education or experience may be substituted at the hiring manager’s discretion for educational or work experience requirements) - Minimum 1 - 2 years building maintenance experience with general knowledge in all facets of building maintenance.
- Basic technical knowledge and mechanical ability to perform routine maintenance and repair on mechanical and electrical equipment.
- Basic knowledge of construction principles.
- Proof of annual tuberculosis clearance in accordance with state regulations.
- Must be available Sunday through Saturday.
- Must be available to work varied schedules, including weekends, evenings, and holidays.
