What are the responsibilities and job description for the Sushi Assistant(we train) position at kage sushi?
We are looking for a Sushi Assistant to join our sushi bar team.
This position is great for someone who is interested in learning sushi and growing in a restaurant environment. Experience is a plus, but we are willing to train the right person.
Responsibilities
- Assist sushi chefs with prep and plating
- Learn sushi basics and support the sushi bar
- Help with cleaning and dish duties as needed
- Keep sushi bar and work areas clean and organized
- Follow food safety and cleanliness standards
Requirements
- Willing to learn and help where needed
- Reliable and on time
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Restaurant experience is a plus, but not required
