Job Summary
As a CNC Operator at Kadon, you will operate and maintain CNC machinery to produce precision parts. If you're detail-oriented, take pride in quality work, and thrive in a team-focused environment—we want to hear from you.
Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor CNC machines (Swiss, Lathe, or Mill)
- Load raw materials and set up tooling per job specs
- Make minor program and offset adjustments
- Perform in-process inspection using micrometers, calipers, and gauges
- Maintain a clean and safe work area
- Follow detailed instructions and quality control standards
Required:
- Previous experience running CNC machines (lathe, mill, or Swiss)
- Ability to read blueprints and interpret technical drawings
- Experience with basic measurement tools
- Strong work ethic and attention to detail
- Dependable and punctual
- Experience with Swiss-type lathes or multi-axis CNC machines
- Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn
- Experience working in a job shop or production environment
- You show up on time and ready to work
- You follow instructions and processes with care
- You do the job right, not just fast
- You take pride in your work and craftsmanship
- You’ve got experience running CNC mills or lathes—or a strong mechanical aptitude
- Poor time management
- Refusing to learn or adapt
- Disrespecting the team or cutting corners
