Kadima Healthcare Rehabilitation and Nursing (Cheswick) is seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our rehabilitation team. Under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist, the PTA provides high-quality, hands-on therapy services that support patient recovery, improve mobility, and enhance functional independence.
Key Responsibilities
- Implement established treatment plans developed by the Physical Therapist
- Provide hands-on therapy and guide patients through therapeutic exercises and mobility training
- Monitor and report patient progress, responses, and changes to the Physical Therapist
- Assist patients with improving strength, balance, coordination, and functional mobility
- Document patient treatments, progress, and outcomes accurately and timely
- Educate patients and families on home exercise programs and recovery techniques
- Support a safe, compliant, and positive rehabilitation environment
- Current certification as a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA)
- Active Pennsylvania license (or eligibility)
- Strong communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
- Experience in skilled nursing or rehabilitation preferred, but not required
