Position Summary
Kadima Healthcare Rehabilitation and Nursing (Cheswick) is seeking a dependable and hardworking Housekeeper to join our team. In this role, you will maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary environment throughout the facility by following established housekeeping procedures and regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Clean and maintain resident rooms, including bathrooms, floors, walls, and furniture
- Perform routine and deep cleaning (including terminal cleaning) in resident and common areas
- Dust, disinfect, and sanitize surfaces throughout the facility using approved cleaning products
- Maintain cleanliness in utility rooms, hallways, dining areas, and public spaces
- Respond to spills and emergencies promptly to ensure a safe environment
- Move furniture as needed for proper cleaning and use appropriate safety signage
- Restock housekeeping supplies and maintain an organized cart and storage areas
- Report maintenance concerns and facility issues to the appropriate team members
- Previous housekeeping or environmental services experience preferred, but not required
- Knowledge of cleaning procedures, sanitation, and safety standards
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail and reliability
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
