Physical Therapist Assistant

North Strabane Rehabilitation & Nursing is seeking a PRN PTA to join their in-house therapy program.

Work with a fabulous, experienced team in a large, fully equipped rehab gym to make a difference for your patients!

Our mission is to offer quality care to our residents, and to provide for them a loving and compassionate environment, attending carefully to their physical, spiritual, and emotional needs.

PTA Duties Include:

• Provides skilled physical therapy services/interventions in accordance with physician orders under the supervision of a Registered Physical Therapist.
• Responds to requests for service by relaying information and referral to Registered Physical Therapist.
• Implements and modifies the patient’s physical therapy plan of treatment with RPT supervision
• Measuring & recording residents motor function, strength and muscle performance
• Monitors patient responses to treatments and modifies it during treatment sessions as necessary.
• Observe residents and write progress reports.\

Education and Qualifications:
