Key Responsibilities
- Oversee all maintenance operations, ensuring compliance with regulatory and Life Safety Code requirements.
- Maintain building systems and perform or coordinate repairs including plumbing, HVAC, electrical, carpentry, and painting.
- Implement and manage a preventive maintenance program for equipment and facility infrastructure.
- Supervise maintenance staff, assign work orders, and train new employees.
- Maintain the facility grounds, including landscaping, snow removal, and overall property appearance.
- Support infection control and environmental safety practices throughout the facility.
- Manage maintenance supplies and equipment according to facility policy.
- Supervisory experience in maintenance or plant operations preferred, ideally in healthcare or long-term care.
- Knowledge of general building systems and repair.
- Strong organizational and leadership skills.
