Job Summary:
Kadima at Lakeside and Kadima at Luzerne, a five-star rated facility in Dallas, Pennsylvania, is seeking a highly skilled Maintenance and Environmental Services Director to join our dynamic family-centered team. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the upkeep and maintenance of our 31-bed facility, and 37-bed facility providing a safe and comfortable environment for our residents and staff.
Responsibilities:
Rated five stars by the Centers for Medicaid and Medicare Services, Kadima at Lakeside offers both short-term rehabilitation and long-term care in our 31-bed facility in Dallas, Pennsylvania. Our small size and dedicated staff ensure you get quality care with a personal touch. Enjoy three home-made meals daily, and interact with Gunner, our resident dog. Our rehabilitation program has a 94 percent success rate, with fewer than 3 percent hospital readmission. We offer physical, occupational, and speech therapy, and we have a psychologist, psychiatrist, and clinical social worker on staff.

Responsibilities:
- Perform minor building repairs, including painting, spackling, and other maintenance repairs as needed
- Inspect and maintain facility grounds, including parking lots, sidewalks, and exterior buildings
- Oversee and assist with cleaning and sanitizing of all areas of the facility, including resident rooms, common areas, and equipment
- Ensure compliance with all safety and regulatory standards, including OSHA and CMS
- Collaborate with other departments to resolve maintenance and facility issues
- Maintain accurate records of work performed, including inventory management and budget tracking
- Identify and prioritize maintenance needs, and develop plans to address them
- Ensure all work is completed in a timely and efficient manner, with minimal disruption to facility operations
- Location: Dallas, Drums Pennsylvania (Kadima at Lakeside's 31-bed facility; Kadima at Luzerne's 37-bed facility)
