Job Summary:
As a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) on our per diem team, you will provide direct care to our residents under the supervision of a licensed nurse. Your responsibilities will include:
- Assisting residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Monitoring resident health and well-being, reporting any changes or concerns to the nursing staff
- Maintaining a clean and safe environment for residents, including restorative care and support
- Collaborating with interdisciplinary team members to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Providing emotional support and companionship to our residents
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in the state of Pennsylvania
- 1 year of experience in long-term care or related field
- Ability to lift, transfer, and reposition residents with varying weights and abilities
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
