. Role Overview
- Title: Field Service Engineer II / III
- Primary Responsibilities:
- Install, troubleshoot, maintain, and repair Thermal Processing and Aqueous Washing Equipment
- Perform customer training, commissioning, and service reporting
- Work on projects ranging from intermediate (FSE II) to high complexity (FSE III)
- Travel: 85–95% domestic/international. Candidates must understand that compensation reflects both hours worked onsite and travel time at customer locations. This is a hard one for people to commit to, make sure they understand travel.
2. Key Skills & Qualifications
- Mechanical, electrical, and electro-mechanical troubleshooting
- Use of precision measurement instruments (micrometers, calipers, vibration meters)
- Hands-on experience with industrial equipment, motors, generators, or automation systems
- Ability to read schematics, technical drawings, and follow procedures
- Strong problem-solving, time management, and communication skills
3. Candidate Fit Notes (not mandatory but helps with training of ITS equipment)
- Local candidates (Milwaukee area) are preferred for initial training and onboarding due to frequent HQ visits
