Responsibilities
Qualifications
- Establish long-term relationships with Architects & Designers in residential and commercial markets, with the objective to secure RFPs from architectural and design firms
- Nurture new and existing relationships by organizing time and activities to maximize face to face interactions.
- Demonstrate product, competitor, and industry knowledge through discussing project technical details, providing product demonstrations, and accredited AIA presentations.
- Review construction and specification documents, entering project and account information into CRM.
- Develop and implement weekly, monthly, and annual personal business plan that will achieve team and individual sales goals through intentional sales, marketing, and networking activities.
- Attend AIA, CSI and Home Building Association meetings and events.
- Develop networking relationships through relevant organizations and groups.
- Assist with set up and coordination of area home and garden shows.
- Work trade shows to promote company, establish contacts and build relationships
- Host educational workshops, box lunches, and relationship building events for clients.
- Provide technical information regarding company products.
- Represent the company to the customer by presenting a professional image and conducting business to the highest standards possible.
- Maintain current knowledge of industry trends by attending seminars, associations and reading industry news.
- Provide customer service to internal/external cross functional teams
Qualifications
- A Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Architecture, Interior Design or related field
- 2 – 3 years of sales experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- CSI, AIA, CDT, AMMA preferred
- Construction and architectural knowledge required
- Valid Drivers License
- Visits open outdoor jobsites; occasionally work in an area that may be unpleasant due to extreme temperatures, rain/snow, odors, noise, dirt, dust or other conditions.
