Join our dynamic facilities maintenance team as a Maintenance/Remodel Technician, where your expertise will keep our environment safe, functional, and visually appealing. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on a variety of projects, from routine maintenance to remodeling initiatives, ensuring that all building systems and interior spaces operate smoothly and meet high standards of quality.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Performs repairs of an assigned area, including: repairing or replacing pipes, toilets, light fixtures, circuit breakers, furnaces, appliances, and other materials
- Repairs windows, doors, and frames; replacing drywall; repairing cabinets, walls, building structures, counter tops, and other structures.
- Responsible for turning around vacant units for occupancy: including repairing and cleaning.
- Performs standard grounds maintenance, including: removing snow; performing landscaping; and mowing lawns.
- Assist contractors performing services at developments
- Performs standard cleaning and trash removal tasks
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High School Diploma or equivalent (G.E.D.)
- 2-4 years of related experience
- Use/knowledge of hand & power tools
- Knowledge of Lead Abatement and Asbestos a plus.
