Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and proactive Warehouse Lead Associate for the 2nd shift to join our fast-paced distribution team. In this vital role, you will oversee daily warehouse operations, lead a team of associates, and ensure efficient inventory management and order fulfillment. Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate daily warehouse activities, including shipping, receiving, inventory control, and materials handling.
- Lead and motivate a team of warehouse associates, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback to ensure high productivity.
- Oversee inventory management processes using warehouse management systems (WMS) and AS400 platforms to maintain accurate stock levels.
- Ensure compliance with OSHA safety standards and promote a safe working environment for all team members.
- Manage forklift operations and other mechanical equipment to facilitate heavy lifting and materials handling tasks safely and efficiently.
- Monitor warehouse distribution workflows to optimize process efficiency, reduce errors, and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
- Maintain accurate records of inventory movements, shipment documentation, and shift reports.
Skills
- Strong knowledge of inventory management systems and warehouse management systems
- Proven experience in warehouse supervision or team management within a fast-paced environment.
- Extensive understanding of logistics operations including shipping & receiving, materials handling, and heavy lifting.
- Mechanical knowledge related to forklift operation and other warehouse equipment safety procedures.
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in inventory control and process improvement initiatives.
- Familiarity with OSHA regulations to ensure safety compliance across all warehouse activities.
- Ability to lead a team effectively while fostering a positive work environment focused on safety and efficiency.
Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
