Overview
KABS4KIDS INC is seeking a dedicated monitor who loves children to join our team!
The monitor will be responsible for overseeing and ensuring the safety and well-being of school aged students while on the route.
Duties
- Supervise and assist students while they are on the school van, ensuring their safety and well-being.
- Implement behavior management techniques to maintain a safe and calm environment
- Help students with boarding and deboarding the van, including securing seat belts and handling any special needs.
- Address and resolve any behavioral issues in a calm and effective manner.
- Maintain a clean and orderly environment on the van.
- Communicate effectively with school staff, parents, and students as needed.
- Utilize experience working with children to provide appropriate support
Qualifications
- Must be able to pass a background check, CORI/SORI
- Prior experience in childcare, classroom settings, or working with children is preferred
- Possession of First Aid certification is a plus
- Strong communication skills to interact with diverse groups of individuals
- Ability to educate and support individuals effectively
- Proficiency in conflict management techniques
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
