What are the responsibilities and job description for the Server Assistant / Food Runner position at kabooki sushi?
We are seeking a hardworking, positive, and motivated team member to join our rapidly growing team. While prior serving experience is preferred, it is not required. This role is ideal for someone eager to learn and grow in a fast-paced, professional dining environment.
The Server Assistant supports both the serving and bartending teams in all aspects of daily operations, including but not limited to:
- Running food efficiently and accurately
- Cleaning, clearing, and resetting tables
- Greeting and assisting guests upon arrival
- Taking orders and assisting with guest requests as needed
- Refilling water and beverage stations
- Assisting with bussing and maintaining table turnover efficiency
- Restocking dry goods, service stations, and supplies
- Organizing and maintaining dry storage and back-of-house areas
- Polishing glassware, silverware, and service equipment
- Assisting with opening and closing side work
- Maintaining cleanliness and organization of the dining room and service areas
- Supporting servers and bartenders to ensure smooth service flow
Kabooki Sushi is located on East Colonial Drive near Downtown Orlando and specializes in the freshest sushi and seafood. Qualified candidates must have a great attitude, strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a professional, fast-paced environment while delivering excellent guest service.

Pay: $400.00 - $900.00 per week
