Pool Server and Food Runner

Description

Beautiful Interlachen Country Club located in Winter Park, FL has openings for full- and part-time servers and food runners in our Pool Kitchen and Bar. Renovated in 2015, this indoor/outdoor casual dining facility provides a fun and casual atmosphere for Members, families, and guests alike. While experience is desired, we are willing to train the right candidate.

SUMMARY: Servers and Food Runners play a vital role on the Pool Kitchen and Bar Front of House Team by providing exceptional member service that ensures a memorable experience for members, families, and guests alike.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Addresses members and guests with friendly and courteous attitude at all times.
• Is familiar with and able to communicate specials and featured items.
• Ensures tables/bar are correctly set for each meal period, private party, or event.
• Completes any sidework such as polishing, folding napkins, etc.
• Servers: Takes order and correctly enters it into the POS system in a timely manner.
• Food Runners: Ensures that plates meet specific requirements, per tickets, and that all food items are presentable.

COMPENSATION (non-tipping): Competitive hourly rate based on experience.

Requirements

AVAILABILITY: Must be flexible and able to work days, nights, weekends, and holidays.

PHYSICAL / MENTAL REQUIREMENTS:

• May be required to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• May be required to work in the heat and sun for periods of time.
• Requires occasional bending, reaching, stretching.
• Must be able to stand for extended periods of time.
• May be required to carry and balance loaded tray.
• May be required to climb step stools of a height of 3 feet.
• Must be capable of working under pressure.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team environment.
