Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Sprinkler Installer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in fire sprinkler fitting and possess the necessary mechanical knowledge to effectively install and maintain sprinkler systems. This role requires proficiency in various welding techniques, blueprint reading, and the use of hand and power tools. The Sprinkler Installer will work on construction sites, ensuring that all installations meet industry standards and regulations.
Duties
- Install fire sprinkler systems according to blueprints and schematics
- Perform MIG, FCAW, and TIG welding as needed for system installation
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and ASME codes & standards
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, and pipe threading equipment for installation tasks
- Conduct maintenance on existing sprinkler systems to ensure functionality
- Execute tube bending, soldering, and rigging as part of the installation process
- Collaborate with other construction professionals to ensure project timelines are met
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment on construction sites
Experience
- Proven experience in fire sprinkler fitting or related fields such as plumbing or HVAC
- Familiarity with mechanical systems and basic math skills for accurate measurements
- Hands-on experience with construction site practices and safety protocols
- Proficient in using calipers and other measuring tools for precise installations
- Background in manufacturing or assembly is a plus
