Job Summary

We are seeking a Senior Power BI Developer with strong expertise in SQL, data warehousing, and enterprise BI systems. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in building dashboards, reports, and data models, along with strong collaboration skills to work with business stakeholders. Banking domain experience is highly preferred.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop Power BI dashboards, reports, and ad-hoc queries
• Collaborate with business users to gather and analyze requirements
• Build and optimize data models using Power Query and Power Pivot
• Develop and optimize DAX queries
• Create paginated reports using Power BI Report Builder
• Work with SQL Server and relational databases
• Provide analytical insights and support business decision-making

Required Skills

• Strong experience in Power BI development
• Expertise in DAX, Power Query, and Power Pivot
• Experience with Power BI Report Builder / Paginated Reports
• Strong SQL skills (SQL Server or similar databases)
• Experience in data warehousing and BI solutions

Nice-to-Have Skills

• Knowledge of Data Flows
• Experience with Power BI Report Server (PBRS)
• Familiarity with Power On
• Experience with Snowflake or similar cloud data platforms
• Exposure to Databricks

Qualifications

• 7 years of experience in BI / Data Warehousing / Analytics
• 3 years of experience in OLAP and data modeling
• Strong understanding of Capital Markets (Fixed Income, Equity, Derivatives)
• Experience with full SDLC / project lifecycle
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
