Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Java Developer with strong experience in Foreign Exchange (FX) and financial domain. The ideal candidate will have hands-on expertise in backend development, building scalable applications, and working in capital markets environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain Java-based backend applications
- Work on FX trading systems and financial applications
- Develop and implement RESTful APIs and microservices
- Collaborate with business stakeholders and technical teams
- Participate in system design, code reviews, and performance optimization
- Troubleshoot and resolve production issues
- Ensure application scalability, performance, and reliability
Required Skills
- 7 years of hands-on experience in Java development
- Strong experience with Spring Boot / Microservices architecture
- Solid understanding of Core Java, Multithreading, Collections
- Experience with REST APIs and web services
- Strong SQL and database knowledge
- Experience working in Financial Services / Capital Markets
- Strong experience in FX (Foreign Exchange) domain
Preferred Skills
- Experience with Kafka or messaging systems
- Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS / Azure)
- Knowledge of Docker / Kubernetes
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Git, etc.)
- Experience with low-latency systems
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science / IT or related field
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
