Job Summary
We are seeking a highly experienced AWS Cloud Infrastructure Architect with strong expertise in hybrid infrastructure environments, cloud migrations, and large-scale enterprise architecture design. The ideal candidate will bring deep hands-on knowledge across on-prem infrastructure, AWS cloud services, IaC automation, DevOps pipelines, and enterprise security best practices.

Roles & Responsibilities
Work with hybrid infrastructure architectures covering on-prem and AWS cloud environments.
Define and analyze on-prem application infrastructure, including networking, storage, processing, and Backup/DR.
Architect the "right fit" AWS cloud solution aligned with best practices and organizational standards.
Design, build, and provision AWS cloud infrastructure for application migration from on-prem to AWS.
Perform capacity planning, monitoring, upgrades, and automation using Terraform, Ansible, Jenkins, and GitHub Actions.
Implement and enforce security and compliance frameworks for AWS environments.
Collaborate with engineering teams across the entire infrastructure lifecycle - Plan, Build, Deploy, Operate.
Enable automation through orchestration, self-service provisioning, and configuration management.
Define technology roadmaps, cloud adoption strategies, and infrastructure modernization plans.
Drive process improvements, standardization, governance, and reusable frameworks.
Conduct feasibility assessments, complexity analysis, and architectural impact evaluation for new solutions.
Work cross-functionally with architecture, delivery, and engineering teams to ensure unified, scalable design patterns
Stay up to date with emerging technologies and incorporate relevant tools across cloud and DevOps ecosystems.

Must-Have Technical / Functional Skills
15 years working with hybrid (on-prem AWS) infrastructure architectures.
Deep experience architecting enterprise-scale AWS infrastructure for application migration.
Strong knowledge of network design, storage, compute, Backup/DR strategies.
Advanced expertise in Terraform, Ansible, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, and IaC automation.
Strong understanding of AWS security, compliance, IAM, VPC, networking, encryption, and cloud governance
Solid background in infrastructure lifecycle processes, including provisioning, orchestration, and configuration management.
Proven experience defining technology direction, roadmaps, and modernization strategies.
Ability to work across teams and lead discussions with architecture, engineering, and operations.
Exposure to a wide range of open-source tools, cloud-native technologies, and automation frameworks.
15 years working with hybrid (on-prem AWS) infrastructure architectures.
