seeking an experienced AI Business Process Engineer to bridge the gap between advanced AI solutions and real-world clinical operations.
This role is focused on transforming business workflows and ensuring operational readiness for AI-driven initiatives rather than traditional software engineering. The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with AI Product Managers, Delivery Engineers, and business stakeholders to redesign workflows, optimize operational processes, and successfully integrate AI into day-to-day healthcare operations.
The successful candidate will play a key role in designing scalable “Human-in-the-Loop” processes that improve efficiency, reduce administrative burden, and drive measurable business value across healthcare operations.
Key Responsibilities
1. Process Discovery & Current-State Analysis (“As-Is”)
- Conduct detailed discovery sessions with:
- Clinical staff
- Operations teams
- Administrative stakeholders
- Analyze and document existing workflows, operational processes, and user journeys.
- Identify:
- Bottlenecks
- Redundant activities
- Process inefficiencies
- Non-value-added tasks
- Develop detailed process maps and workflow diagrams using BPMN standards and process mapping tools.
- Evaluate opportunities where AI can improve operational efficiency and workflow effectiveness.
2. AI Workflow Design & Future-State Optimization (“To-Be”)
- Design future-state workflows integrating AI-driven capabilities into operational processes.
- Define how end users and operational teams will interact with AI-generated outputs.
- Develop “Human-in-the-Loop” operational frameworks including:
- Validation workflows
- Exception handling
- Review and escalation queues
- Human approval processes
- Create Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to support AI-enabled workflows and business processes.
- Ensure AI implementations align with operational realities and end-user expectations.
3. Strategic Implementation & Change Management
- Serve as the liaison between:
- AI/Data Science teams
- Engineering teams
- Clinical and business stakeholders
- Translate technical AI capabilities into operationally practical business solutions.
- Define success metrics focused on:
- Workflow efficiency
- User adoption
- Process optimization
- Reduction in administrative workload
- Facilitate process-focused User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
- Support organizational change management and AI adoption initiatives.
- Drive stakeholder engagement and operational readiness throughout project delivery.
Required Qualifications
- 5 years of experience in:
- Business Process Engineering
- Operations Strategy

- Strong expertise in:

- Advanced proficiency with:
