KAAST Machine Tools is a leading manufacturer and distributor of high-quality machine tools and fabrication equipment in North America. We are experiencing rapid growth and are seeking a driven and results-oriented Inside Sales Engineer to join our team in Philadelphia, PA. Position Summary:
As an Inside Sales Rep, you will be responsible for driving sales growth by effectively managing inbound and warm leads, analyzing customer applications, and providing accurate and timely quotes for our extensive range of machinery. You will leverage your strong communication and technical skills to understand customer needs, recommend appropriate solutions, and build lasting relationships. While this is primarily an inside sales role, you will have the opportunity to visit customers and attend 2-3 industry tradeshows annually (approximately 10% travel).

- Manage Leads & Pipeline: Qualify and follow up on inbound and warm leads, maintain a strong sales pipeline, and track all activity in our CRM.
- Customer Engagement: Analyze customer applications, recommend the ideal KAAST machinery, and deliver compelling presentations with accurate quotes.
- Build Relationships: Establish trust and maintain strong connections with new and existing customers.
- Product Knowledge: Develop a deep understanding of KAAST’s extensive product line and stay current on industry trends and competitor offerings.
- Drive Results: Meet and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets while collaborating with internal teams to ensure successful order fulfillment.
- Trade Shows: Attend 2-3 industry events per year.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum 2 years in inside sales or account management; capital equipment or machine tool experience is highly preferred. Proven track record of meeting/exceeding sales goals.
- Skills: Excellent communication, strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM systems, quick to learn new technologies, and highly organized.
- Attributes: Results-driven, detail-oriented, and able to build rapport with customers; team player who can also work independently.
Pay: Base plus Commission. Competitive pay based on experience.
