Kennel Technician

K9 Mania Dog Training is looking for a Kennel Tech to join our team! If you're passionate about dogs and want to help provide top-quality care and training, we want to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities:

• Kennel Maintenance: Clean and sanitize kennels, ensuring a safe and comfortable environment for the dogs.
• Animal Care: Provide food and water according to our feeding schedule, administer medications as directed, and assist with grooming and walking tasks.
• Animal Interaction: Walk, play with, and ensure the overall well-being of our furry guests.
• Assist in Training: Help trainers with dogs during training sessions.
• Filming and Photos: Take videos and photos of dogs during training and activities to send updates to clients.
• Client Communication: Assist in sending updates and answering client questions about their dogs.
• Client Interaction: Greet and assist dog owners, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring clients feel welcomed and reassured about their pets' care.

Requirements:

• Experience: Previous experience in animal care or kennel management is highly preferred but not required. Training will be provided to the right candidate.
• Passion for Dogs: Must have a genuine love for dogs and the ability to work with various breeds and sizes.
• Flexibility: Ability to work weekends (both Saturdays and Sundays) and a flexible schedule.
• Physical Ability: Must be physically capable of handling and working with dogs.
• Certification: Kennel Technician Certification or similar is highly preferred but not mandatory.
• Customer Service Skills: Ability to communicate well with clients and work as part of a team.
