We are looking for full-time candidates available to work on weekends (both Saturdays and Sundays) who can start ASAP.
K9 Mania Dog Training is urgently seeking a dedicated and dog-loving Kennel Assistant to join our new dog training facility! If you have a passion for dogs and excellent customer service skills, we want to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities:
- Kennel Maintenance: Clean and disinfect kennels to ensure a hygienic environment.
- Animal Care: Provide food and water according to our feeding schedule, administer medications as directed, and assist with feeding, grooming, and walking tasks.
- Animal Interaction: Walk, play with, and ensure the overall well-being of our furry guests.
- Client Interaction: Greet and assist dog owners, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring clients feel welcomed and reassured about their pets' care.
Requirements:
- Experience: Previous experience in animal care or kennel management is highly preferred but not required. Training will be provided to the right candidate.
- Passion for Dogs: Must have a genuine love for dogs and the ability to work with various breeds and sizes.
- Flexibility: Ability to work weekends (both Saturdays and Sundays) and a flexible schedule.
- Physical Ability: Must be physically capable of handling and working with dogs.
- Certification: Kennel Technician Certification or similar is highly preferred but not mandatory.
- Customer Service: Strong customer service experience is highly preferred.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
