Responsibilities
- Load and unload materials from trucks and containers, ensuring proper handling techniques are used.
- Utilize pallet jacks and forklifts for moving heavy items safely throughout the warehouse.
- Maintain an organized workspace by building and arranging pallets as needed.
- Follow OSHA guidelines to ensure a safe working environment for all employees.
- Perform materials handling tasks, including sorting, packing, and preparing shipments for delivery.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily operational goals and maintain productivity standards.
- Assist in inventory counts and the management of the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) for accurate record-keeping.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a warehouse or similar environment is preferred.
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems, computers, and various electronics is a plus.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 100 pounds) safely and efficiently.
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on safety protocols (OSHA compliance).
- Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to work independently when required.
- Consistent and punctual attendance required.
