Job Overview
K12 Computers is seeking an IT Asset Audit Technician to support the processing and verification of technology devices received through our asset recovery programs. This role is responsible for accurately auditing, serializing, and documenting devices such as Apple iPads, MacBooks, Chromebooks, and other technology equipment. The position plays an important role in ensuring devices are properly documented, verified, and prepared for resale or further processing. This role works closely with the sales and operations teams to ensure accurate inventory records and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Device Auditing
- Audit and document incoming technology devices
- Capture serial numbers and device specifications
- Verify device model, storage capacity, and configuration
- Ensure accurate data entry into internal inventory systems
Apple Device Processing
- Identify and process Apple devices including:
- iPads
- MacBooks
- iMacs
- Verify device specifications and physical condition
Quality Assurance Checks
- Perform QA verification on previously audited devices
- Confirm accuracy of recorded serial numbers and device data
- Identify discrepancies in inventory records
Inventory Support
- Assist with organizing and staging audited inventory
- Maintain accurate device tracking throughout the processing workflow
- Support sales team with device verification and listing preparation
Operational Support
- Assist with general warehouse processing tasks
- Maintain organized workstations and device staging areas
- Support process improvements for auditing and documentation
Qualifications:
