Job Title: Senior System DBA (Oracle Exadata & SQL Server)
Loacation: Charlotte, NC / Irving, tx / Jersey City, NJ
Experience: 8 - 10 years
Job Summary
Seeking an experienced System DBA with strong expertise in Oracle Exadata and Microsoft SQL Server to manage, optimize, and support high-performance, enterprise database systems.
Key Responsibilities
  • Administer Oracle databases on Exadata (installation, patching, upgrades)
  • Manage SQL Server databases (performance tuning, backup/recovery)
  • Handle HA/DR setups RAC, Data Guard, Always On
  • Monitor performance and resolve production issues
  • Implement backup & recovery (RMAN, SQL Server)
  • Automate tasks using Shell/Python/PowerShell

Must-Have Skills
  • Oracle Exadata (mandatory)
  • Oracle 12c/19c/21c
  • SQL Server (2016/2019/2022)
  • RAC, Data Guard, Always On
  • Performance tuning & query optimization
  • Backup & recovery expertise
  • Unix/Linux Windows
  • Scripting (Shell/Python/PowerShell)

Good to Have
  • Cloud (AWS/Azure/Oracle Cloud)
  • Ansible / Terraform
  • OEM, Splunk
  • DevOps basics
