Job Duties

The purpose of this part-time position is to provide administrative support to the administrative and operational departments at K & T Security Services, LLC located at 322 Main Street Suite 110, Laurel, Maryland. This position has the potential to be reclassified as full time with benefits as business increases. The following tasks outline the job duties for this position.

 

The Office Administrator will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following:

 


  1. Organizational Tasks

  • Assist with the management of the day-to-day administrative operations of the K & T Laurel Office.

  • Monitor an inventory system /database for equipment, guns, radios, automobiles, uniforms, office supplies, and furniture.

  • Assist the Chief Admin Officer (CAO) in developing the Company’s Standard Operating Procedures (SPOs).

  • Assist with the management of the Human Resources department at K & T Security using BambooHR.

  • Monitor and coordinate the advertisement and pre-selection of individuals applying through Indeed on BambooHR for employment with K&T.

  • Develop data bases that will ensure that there are current rosters/spreadsheets for all K & T Security officers and staff.

  • Establish shared folders on Google for all contracts, K& T Company Documents (Licenses, leases, Insurance policies, Marketing materials, contract rosters, etc.)

  • Monitor all company email accounts.

  • Schedule and participate in all company meetings for officers and management staff.

 2.   Officer Licensing


  • Support in-office protocols/procedures for assisting all officers in need of The District of Columbia and Maryland Licenses by mastering license procedures. Schedule sessions and protocols that would support officers obtaining their licenses. Identify computer support for the officers to use to assist in completing the task.

  • Coordinate officer License renewal using Bamboo HR.

           

  3.  Social Media Update


  • Evaluate and improve/build the Company’s social media presence.

  • Review Company Websites

  • Review and upgrade Facebook Page

  • Upgrade/support Instagram Image/account

 4.  Live Scan Finger Printing


  • Participate in the training of Live Scan Fingerprinting procedures.

  • Coordinate and develop procedures for the offering of live Scan Fingerprinting in the K & T Security office.

  • Act as lead for the offering of fingerprint services to the public

     

      5.  Other Duties as Assigned.
